I forgot about the tendency for it to be 5-10 degrees warmer in town (nearly any town within driving distance). I took the sweater, and never did put it on. Concert went reasonably well -- N and I did our best to be a 'saxophone choir' with just the two of us. He was sight reading AS1 on a few pieces, so that was fun (for him :) ). It was a very laid back performance -- I don't think I've ever seen Damien so relaxed at a concert. It was kind of nice -- took me back to my college days, where there were three 'rules' of the band (play well, have fun, look like you're having fun).

Had a couple more band members comment on my case -- one of them said 'that's a heck of a case'. Hey, it's a heck of a horn, and it doesn't come apart! M came up on it from an angle she's not seen it from before and said that she was trying to figure out why someone would have a vacuum cleaner in the middle of a lawn. :)
