Apr. 26th, 2008 12:12 amIt's very noisy outside right now. (yes, I know it's after midnight local time.) There are at least four frogs, of two or three species, chirping and croaking away, and the (adult) toads are trilling. And the very loud hound/beagle/something who lives two streets away has been left outside for too long, thankyouverymuch, and is making sure that everyone within a 1/2 mile radius is aware of this.
Cleared the sewing room today, in preparation for dress alteration. I didn't get everything put away, but there's a lot less on the tables than there was this morning. SR picked a halter style dress, and I need to shorten the strap a couple of inches and then figure out how much I need to shorten the skirt and streamers. I think I will have to unseam the back godet and move it up to the top of the skirt so that we don't lose the beading on the bottom of the godet. I may even have to shorten the godet, as she wants to lose the train effect altogether. At least M has found someone else to shorten her dress -- SR's is going to be a project. And prom is a week from tomorrow!
And I have a concert on Sunday. whee!
