The forsythia is blooming, the rowan is budding. Had to bring the laundry in because it started raining -- the front is mostly through, so the wind has stopped blowing quite so hard. We still have not heard frogs peeping or croaking, but they have been going "bloop", and we have all (J, DB, and I) seen frogs of various sizes in and around the pond.

I have been weeding in the NE flowerbed every day for the last four or five -- it's looking better, but I'm still not quite half done. And I may have to not do quite so much out there, as my back is becoming annoyed by all of that (it doesn't seem to be muscle fatigue, but tendons and ligaments pulling on joints).

yeah, I know quite a few people with that reaction. I get enough of the itchy eyes/tickly throat/runny nose reaction to be annoying; but not enough to make the side effects of anthihistamines worthwhile.
