jennlkIt's been an odd week. Kids had Friday and Monday off. There was no FCB rehearsal last night (Farmington schools were closed Monday, so no rehearsal in their buildings). There was no bell choir rehearsal tonight -- we played on Sunday, and don't play again until the 22nd of March. I skipped Pilates yesterday as I was being lazy. I'll miss Saturday's due to Cap, although I don't think I'll go to that class again anyway -- it's very much a beginner class, and I'm past that.
I spent a lot of time in the sewing room this weekend, cutting out stuff and working on projects. SR would like to have her 'leather' skirt for Thursday's concert, and I should be able to get it done, even with some recutting and piecing. Now that I'm done cutting, at least -- I've spent so much time standing on the basement floor that my feet are getting crampy. Should go rest them for a while, especially with a con coming up.
SR has decided that she wants to go to band Friday morning to get the director's commentary and actually be there when he works them on the stuff that wasn't up to par... silly girl, why would she want to do that? Maybe because MSBOA Festival is next week? So we'll be leaving mid-morning Friday.
Wintry mix expected tonight. I do expect that there will be school tomorrow, unless it's all ice. I don't think it'll be that cold, though.
