Close to 20F! Heat wave! Supposed to be well over freezing by the weekend, they tell us. yay, as the snow melts. Not into my basement or anyone else's, I hope.
"only" dropped to -14F (-25C) here last night. Got to -17F (-27C) at the airport, but their thermometer is out in a field somewhere -- ours is about 20 feet from the house, on the deck rail.
DB's first real concert tonight -- iirc, this is a combined concert, with the 6th grade orchestra and the 6th grade band. I don't know if the choir is singing tonight or not -- they may not be. (The voice director here doesn't play well with the others.) SR tells me that some of the high school ensembles that did Solo & Ensemble last month will be playing tonight, mostly to familiarise the students (and the non-musical parents) with the variety of instruments available should Junior continue to play into high school. SR may or may not be ushering tonight.
The coat repair continues to cause difficulty. I know what's wrong and how to fix it, it's just taking a lot longer to do than I expected. Got one side done, and you'd think the second side would be easier, as I've already done it once. You'd be wrong.
