jennlkI think that rehearsal tomorrow night will be interesting. I feel much better, but. Choir practice ran nearly 90 minutes today (started work on Christmas stuff, worked on the piece we're doing in two weeks as the other alto and I will not be at rehearsal next week, and worked on some of the rest of December's repertoire), somewhat longer than usual. My lungs are still annoyed by that, four hours later. grumble.
Earlier this fall, I noticed a spot where the paint had been chipped off the roof of the new car. I remembered it happening, because I ducked the rock that caused it. Three months later, I finally got around to touching up the spot, wanting to get it done before winter. Just in time, too. There's currently over an inch of snow on the deck, and the driveway and grass are getting covered. Good thing I plugged in the birdbath!
CHS is out of the football playoffs. They lost to Inkster Saturday afternoon. I think the kids would have been happier playing Friday night -- SR said they had everything (rain, slush, wintry mix) but straight snow at the game, and it was about 35F. Her varsity jacket was completely soaked, and she was pretty chilled when she got home. The jacket is almost dry, but I don't know if it'll be wearable tomorrow. I may drop it in the dryer on air-fluff to unstiffen it.
