"well, the bump hasn't really gone down, has it?" (Doc I saw Saturday took pictures and attached to the records.)
"Nope, not really. It's less red and shiny than it was, and not as hot."
"If it was infected, it either would have gotten much better or dramatically worse since Saturday. Let's get an ultrasound of it." Pulls the ultrasound machine into the room, gloops up the bump. "Not seeing any infection. Lots of fluid buildup, but infection looks different on an ultrasound. I think it's just a very bad bruise in a bad place. Ice 2-3 times a day, Compress at night, Elevate whenever possible.If it doesn't look any better in a week, come back in."
Now that I'm not doing 8 hour days of election set-up/tear-down, I should be able to rest it, right? Except that the weather will be decent this weekend, and I need to weed the strawberry bed that we transplanted last summer before the weeds take it over.
still no word from the collision shop. maybe tomorrow. <crosses fingers>
