jennlkSillyRabbit just got home from school, and she's just bouncing!
The 8th grade band had MSBOA (Michigan School Band and Orchestra) Band Festival today.
Her band got all 1s. (Blue ribbon.)
Each band played an assigned song, a pick-from-a-list, a free choice, and got a piece to sight read. There are three judges, and a sight-reading judge, for a total of four scores, which are then weighted to a one-number final score. (1 is best, 2 is OK, 3 is needs work, 'comment only' is not good.)
