jennlkCOVID test was negative. Today will be errands! (and scheduling my booster.)
I was very surprised that I did not have a cat sleeping with me last night. J has a bladder infection and is feeling very sorry for himself, *and* he doesn't sleep well with others when he's sick, so I'm going to be sleeping upstairs in SR's old room until he's better. Usually when I do that, I get a cat, but not this time. At least not yet.
I did get the E garden mostly cleared - there's more weeds in there, but I'd need to rake the leaves out to get them all, and I like leaving a last layer of leaves on as a bit of insulation.I also pulled the thistles out of the rose bed in the back yard, and grass from between the barberries. Still much work to be done out there, but they tell us it'll rain this afternoon and then get cold, so I may be about done with garden work for the year. There's another round of leaf sweeping and lawnmowing that needs doing, but J managed to get through last weekend without doing it, and now he's gonna be out of commission for a week. I may wind up out there with a rake next week.
