A pile of rain for the weekend.

The rain gauge says we got nearly 3 inches of rain Friday and early Saturday. The gardens were certainly very wet over the weekend, so I didn't go into them. I did get into the gardens nearest the house yesterday - they don't get as wet as the gardens in the yard.
There is a squall line draping down across the state, so we may get a bit more rain tonight. (The Tigers are currently in a rain delay, even though there's no rain clouds here (now).) But it should be terrific weather for the concert on Belle Isle tomorrow night. Word is that there might not be much of an audience - the organizers don't seem to be doing a lot of advertising. The conductor tells us that he's aiming for about 70 minutes of music for the concert. I'll be spending more time driving to the gig than playing it. I have to be there early for setup, too.
J is theoretically heading to the annual picnic tomorrow, taking K up. Dunno if he'll still go up if she can't go.
