Dentist yesterday morning - the hygenist tells me that we will soon stabilise on a dentist - the dentist currently in the office is going to buy the practice. That will be nice. There's been a new dentist in the office every 16 months or so for the last few years. The founding dentist & his family sold the practice when he had a stroke, and it eventually wound up in an organization that has a bunch of offices in the metro area, and is a path for new dentists getting established before setting up/buying their own practice.
Grocery shopping followed. Weirdly busy for a Tuesday morning, but shopping patterns get weirded by the holiday season. The biggest gaps I saw were in the spice aisle. I went to three stores, and nobody had dry mustard. There were other gaps in the spice shelves as well, but that's the one I remember because that's what I was looking for. (There were a couple of other stores I could have tried, but I'm not going to make a special stop just for mustard.) And no crescent rolls, other than the house brand 'buttery flavor' ones, which are pretty horrid.
Christmas erm, Holiday letter is done, now to find the cards and a space to do them. I may wind up at the desk in the basement, where I won't distract J, although I'll have to shift the printer and J's soda stash.
