Errands yesterday. Still some gaps, different than last week. Was able to get chocolate chips and Dr Pepper in cans! House brand tortilla chips, too. DB's fruity herbal tea is no longer available -- it seems to be a summer flavor, and should be back next year. Canada Dry Cranberry ginger ale is in 2l bottles, but not cans yet. It may not make it into cans, as it's a seasonal thing, and there's still a dearth of aluminum for soda cans.
Cold last weekend - the pond froze over, pretty thickly, but it's been warm and sunny since Wednesday or so, so the ice is almost all melted - the pond is mostly shaded in the winter and only gets sun in the morning. They tell us it will rain tomorrow. (w00t.) The deer have been drinking the water in the birdbath over night, and I have to fill it every morning. I really should see if I can find a larger pitcher to haul water out - the 4 Qt pitcher I've been using isn't *quite* big enough.
I've been doing some rearranging of things in the basement - Tuesday I got a stack of boxes down from the garage attic and packed them with the rummage pile. It's much neater now, and there's more floor space. There are a few bags of things to go to the Salvation Army/Goodwill, but that will wait until next week. Next up, the actual workroom!
I need to put together a holiday box for EU, one sans homemade treats which will get stale in the (probable) 6 weeks it'll take to get to her. It really doesn't feel like it's 2 weeks to Christmas, between the lockdown and the lack of snow. Nevermind that we haven't reliably had a white Christmas since we moved out of the UP. :)
Shoulder still bothering me. If it's not better next month, I'll go bug the ortho again. The PTs said it would probably never get back to what it was, but I'd like to be able to go through a day of usual activity without saying ow, and the idea of breaking out the icepack on the days when I wash my hair? yeah, no.
