quick run of errands today - bank (wire transfer for modified solar system to include storage and garage installation, so one more panel and a passel of batteries and more wiar(!)), grocer (for stuff they either didn't have on Friday or I didn't know I needed then), mammogram (w00t). Hospital is less aggressive in screening than they were a month ago - no temp check in driveway, but temp/reason for entry checkers at all entrances and masks required. Took the beater (2005 Chevy Classic), as it needs to move once in a while and DB hasn't gone anywhere for three weeks.
FCB is collecting music this week. It will be my second trip out of the county since March, both related to community band. And on this one I'll actually leave the car! (I may even stop at IKEA on the way home, as it's on the way. then again, I may not -- not sure there's anything I need there.)
Shoulder very cranky so far this week. I suspect that the physio pushed a bit more than they should have last friday.
Have sourced, through sources other than the behemoth, all the items I muttered about in prior post. And then I was at a different Meijer today and they had *lots* of 1 cup glass storage. Cheaper than the corningware site, too -- the site was out of stock on the four packs of plain, so I ordered printed 3 packs, and then the other Meijer had the plain 4 packs. ohwell.
Very noisy cricket in the front garden. Still fireflies at sunset, but not quite as many. There was one creeping across the windowscreen last night, blinking away.

Date: 2020-07-29 05:05 pm (UTC)We are still seeing fireflies at our house. They often catch my eye as the go by the side window in the living room while I am riding my exercise bike, usually five or six times each night. (I don't know how often they go by without me noticing.) I don't believe I had heard any crickets yet this season.

Date: 2020-07-29 07:50 pm (UTC)1 cup glass storage in bowl shape, not jar shape - I need to divvy up large containers of food, and if I can put it directly into something I can eat out of, bonus! (fewer dishes to wash is always good.) Pyrex makes a line of storage/serving bowls with snap on plastic lids; sometimes the bowls have printing on them (stripes, bats, snowflakes, phrases) with coordinating lids, and sometimes the bowls are plain glass. We have a stock of the 2 and 4 cup sizes, but didn't have any of the 1 cup size, and neither the Meijer nor the Target I was at last Friday had any in stock.
