jennlkThere's a FCB concert this afternoon, and one next Sunday.
It's still too cold (and 2" of rain fell yesterday) to get into the garden. We got half an inch of ice/snow mix overnight, too. It's not even very pretty, as it's still overcast and dreary. We still need to rip back the rill and rebuild the west side -- the water keeps finding new ways to get out -- but there's no way I'm doing that when the water is just above freezing.
However, the giant crocuses in the side garden bloomed, and the daffodils in the front garden are showing buds. The tulips in the garden next to the deck are about 6inches tall, and the early trees are budding.
I guess we could say that spring is delayed this year.
