The FCB's conductor (who asked) is, as you might gather from the question, setting up a foundation to supplement the arts programs in the public schools. His f-list is largely band people and church folk. A couple of mutual friends have reposted the question on FB, and this is a quite different audience. The more viewpoints on this question, the better, I think.
