Lotsa same-ol' same-ol' going on here.
Oct. 25th, 2018 09:49 amWhich is to say, not much new.
I caved and put out the heated birdbath this morning - it was easier than breaking the ice out of the summer birdbath. I've had to do that every morning this week. Just in time for it to not drop below freezing for the next week. enh. It's got a thermostat and doesn't run until the water inside drops to some cold-but-not-freezing temperature.
Halloween concert on Sunday. I need to find my costume trousers. And figure out which white shirt I'm wearing. I have located the boots and the tailcoat. And a clip on light for the stand. DC has been asking the auditorium crew to cut some lights, and sometimes that means it gets hard to see in the back row.
It's been a bit chilly, but I've been getting into the gardens anyway. There's work to be done! At least it's not been raining. I've gotten the blackberry lilies cut back, and have spent most of this week pulling grass out from under the milkweed in the E garden. There's a couple more days left of that, and by then most everything else will be ready to be cut back.
