Fall, and thus winter, are on their way....

How do I know this? when I went out to feed the birds at 9am, there was still a sixteenth of an inch of ice in the birdbath. J says there was frost last night, too, but we can get frost at 35F. It is supposed to warm up to 65F, and be sunny, so I suppose I should go and trim off things that got frost-killed. Later, when it does warm up.

There were a trio of chickadees 'dee-dee-DEE'ing at me while I was feeding & clearing the ice out of the birdbath, and a trio of crows cawing from the top of the cottonwood.
