Dec. 29th, 2008 12:02 pmAnd my back still hurts, although now in a different place. And I had plans for today. J took a pair of dressers over to his family when he went over on Saturday, which left me with a pile of stuff to sort, so I was going to sort that and start on the new piles of things in the sewing room. That's not likely to happen now.
However, I probably will finish my cowl today -- I started DB's second hat yesterday morning after breakfast, and it was blocking by dinner. His head is nearly the same size as mine, and the first hat was a smidge small -- I made two modifications for size (smaller needles and one round less of increases), and should have only made one.
Christmas was very low-key around here. It usually is, but this year even moreso. DB got some LEGO, SR got LEGO and a music-box kit, J got a book, I got a light for the workroom. It was just as well that we didn't schedule anything else, between the weather and my back going out. New Year's looks like it will be just as "busy" -- SR and I will be the only ones up at midnight, and she'll probably be IMing with her friends.
