Sometimes I really don't like our dog....
Jan. 18th, 2007 11:57 pmLike when she steals my blanket, and growls at me when I try to get it back. Somehow, whenever she creeps up onto the bed she pulls the top blanket from my side, not J's. (some of that is probably because he's got another blanket on top on his side.) I've been waking up chilled and stiff and creaky and badly slept for the last few mornings. grumble.
In other news, I have ordered an upgrade for my sax mouthpiece (went all the way for a concert m'piece, and got a Selmer C*), and the instrument stand arrived a couple of days ago. It will make rehearsals easier when I don't have to carry the horn everywhere I go. I just wish it wasn't so cramped in the row -- there's barely room for the six stands to six chairs that is the ASax1/AS2/TSax1/TS2/Bari Sax/First Horn line, and the Horn player and I have to be really careful that we don't bash our instruments together. I should ask about moving back one row....
SR is annoyed by the delay in finals -- the extra day off on Tuesday pushed everything back a day -- and is somewhat concerned that there won't be school tomorrow. It was pretty slippery when I came home from choir practice -- I was walking very carefully, let me tell you. I really -don't- want to see my surgeon again.
