Is it Friday yet?
Apr. 28th, 2006 03:11 pmNot that it's going to make a lot of difference. I was creaky and stiff last week, didn't really think much about it, as the week before was rather hectic. However, I've revised that. I think it was a glancing blow from the cold that's kept both kids home all week. DB stayed home from church on Sunday, didn't go back to school until today (then called me about 11am and wanted to come home -- I went to pick him up, and he was about three shades paler than usual and was running a fever). SR stayed home from school on Tuesday, and hasn't been back, either. She hates missing school, so I know she's not faking it.
In wild America, we saw a red fox in the backyard this morning. J thinks it had come to get a drink out of the new pond, although by the time we saw it, it was out in the field, and just trotted off along the field line while the dog growled at it from inside. And the cats have been entranced by the birdfeeders in the backyard -- they've almost always got a dozen birds to watch, sometimes more.
