This is the one where I feel just fine. Until I try to do something relatively simple. like bake. or move a laundry basket (note that I didn't say "carry"). or pick up after doing cookies and coffee at church. And then my abdominal muscles and back muscles are sore. For days. And even after the soreness goes away, they're still tired.

I've spent most of the last two days nesting in the (so far, vain) hope that it will relax my abdominal muscles enough that they will be able to recover, at least slightly. I've been sleeping poorly for the last couple of nights because I can't get the muscles in my back to relax enough to let me sleep (not helped by the dog who insists on 'sharing' the bed). I thought it was just because I was cold, but wearing fuzzy jammies didn't help. Nor did wearing socks (which often helps when I'm not sleeping well due to being chilled).

There's so many things that need to be done around here that I can't do (vacuum, iron, wash dishes, move more than one load of laundry, etc). DB has Pinewood Derby this weekend, and he and J have been focussing on that (somewhat to the detriment of other duties). SR has band festival this week, and has needed a ride home from school every night this week, and went in early on Tuesday (CHS is hosting the district festivals for Band and Orchestra and Choir, so there's a lot of set-up and prep work that needs to be done).
