warming up!

jennlkOr so they tell us. The deck thermometer said it was 4F (-15C) when DB and J left for school/work at 0645am. Around 0800 it was reading -3F (-20C) -- now the sun has come out and there's no wind, so it's warming up slightly, currently reading 6F. There's pretty sparklies on everything, catching the sunlight. It's really pretty on the seed heads on the ornamental grass out by the pond.
The kids and I took the Christmas decorations down yesterday, and J and DB took the tree down. The tree is currently in its storage bag on the living room floor, but it should get out to the garage this evening.
There is an odd gleam of light on the living room wall -- I tracked it back, and it's the sun coming through the back door, reflecting off the living room floor and then the inner glass on the living room windows.
I have errands to run today, but I think I'll wait for it to warm up a bit more.
