and some pretty irises (bright white, two tone pale yellow and purple), with buds for deep purple and pink showing. A creamy yellow California poppy, a dark orange one, a lot of orange and orange-and-yellow, and some cornflower and pink shasta daisies. The peony buds are starting to pop -- there's a white one about half open, and a lot of color showing on the red ones. (I guess I'll be making a trek out to the cemetery this weekend to put flowers on graves.) The lilacs and alliums are about done, and the daffs have been done for a while. I should go trim them off today.

We have one very noisy frog, and a couple of others who gronk occasionally. The squirrel has figured out how to empty the hummingbird feeder at night. I'll need to start bringing that in.
