Boy, is it a Monday here.

Woke up early (0500). Finally got up about 0550, as it was apparent I
wasn't going to get back to sleep for anything useful before the alarm
went off at 0615 (dog kept jumping over me to see what J was doing,
then barked at J when he left).
Got the kids up for school. Went to make sandwiches as requested (ham and MW, roastbeef and MW). No ham, even in the freezer. Enough roast beef for a sandwich, but it's on the edge, and will probably not make it till lunchtime (it's fine for a fresh sandwich, but SR won't have lunch for 4-1/2 hours after I make the sandwich). Ok, on to second choice (PBJ, turkey & MW). While DB was eating his breakfast, between his snerfing and his hacking, decided that he wasn't going to go to school today (the cold that
johnridley has
probably came home from DB's school).
...SR says this morning "I need a white shirt for the concert on Thursday". Fortunately, she can raid my closet if necessary. (In her defense, the band director didn't mention it until Wednesday, and SR knows that we don't go shopping over Thanksgiving break. That, and she thought she had one that fit in her closet. Fortunately, she checked over the weekend, instead of waiting until Thursday.)...
By this time, my lower back and glutes are quite tired, and the back of my right foot is hurting, as is my left thigh. This is not good. But there's still work to be done before I can rest. Bread, laundry, bills. Finish those off, curl up in my nest with DB on the computer. Then the cable modem goes down, and takes the router with it -- while he's at Neopets. Reset both (two trips to the basement), then restart the computer. Finally get that working. Then it's lunchtime.
Had a busy weekend (at least for me), and I guess I wasn't quite ready for it. Still very tired today, and fatigue easily. And meetings and stuff tonight. At least it's not icy. Yet. (I was hoping it wouldn't be icy this year. ;( ) It is, however, raining quite hard at the moment.
And I'm still not used to my new glasses. Another week, and I go back to see if they can be tweaked.
