the orange one is Crown Imperial (Fritillaria Imperialis). She's looking up at the flower from underneath -- it's about 2 feet to the bottom of the flower.
the white ones are daffodils, and I don't remember the exact variety offhand.
the checkered/spotted ones are Snake's Head Lily (fritillaria meleagris). They're much smaller than the Imperalis, and prefer shade to full sun.
That's about right -- when we lived in Houghton, our flowers lagged Mum's by 3-4 weeks.
Our first Darwin tulips just bloomed today, and only one of them. The rest of them still have about a week to go before they open. The stuff that's bloomed so far is the early stuff (which, in a more 'normal' year, would have bloomed sometime in mid-April.)
