jennlkVery quiet today. All the kids are off at camp. J took DaBoy up to Scout camp yesterday afternoon - they'll be there until late tomorrow. I took SR up to her camp yesterday as well - we go pick her up on Friday. The dog is sulking, big time. She misses J, and is convinced that I've made him go away. (Never mind that SR and I left 2 hours before he did, it's my fault.)
So what did I do today? Nothing. Well, that's not quite true - I did some stitching. I played on the computer without kids bugging me for their turn. I watched what I wanted to watch on TV. I wrote a menu/packing lists/shopping lists for the camping trip we're (supposedly) going on in just over a week.
After yesterday's excursion, I think that the drive won't be a problem. SR's camp is 3 hours away, so I drove for 6 hours yesterday, and while I was stiff when I got home, it wasn't anything unusual. While it's a 10+hour drive, we usually break it up on the way north, and play it by ear on the way home. We may be stopping overnight on the way down, since I usually drive most of the way home, and my right foot was getting a little weird at the end yesterday.
I go see my ortho tomorrow for a followup for the most recent epidural (no effect); and have an appointment with the surgeon next week. I expect them to both say that I can go if I feel up to it. Ortho has already said that, haven't mentioned it to surgeon yet.
