so. more snow.

Not much in the scheme of things, but still. When I checked the garage last night before I went to bed, there was a dusting of snow, and flakes sifting down. This morning, I had to clear 3-4 inches off the bird feeders. I saw a couple of new birds -- a pair of starlings have apparently exhausted their other food sources, and were picking at the suet cakes this morning; and there was a woodpecker on the birch tree by the deck. The tufted titmice had been frequenting other sources for a few weeks, but they're back -- one was taunting Ji, bouncing around on the feeder just in front of him. The birds in general seemed a bit taken aback by the snow.

SR, on the other hand, was really surprised. As they didn't have school yesterday, she'd not been checking the weather, and was somewhat irked that I hadn't found it necessary to let her know that snow was expected. I figure that if she really wants to know, there's a link in the toolbar of the browser.
