jennlkFollowup with doc today. MRI showed ruptured disk between L5 and S1 vertebrae, with the disk membrane bulging out and impinging on the nerve bunch. First plan of attack is PT, so I go see the therapist on Friday. We'll see how that goes, but I don't think it'll work all that well. Probably won't make things worse, but I don't think it'll make much difference.
I get to see my 5th therapist at this clinic - the clerks and assistants know my name. Heck, some of them know my kids' names (and I know their kids' names). (It's not the fault of the clinic that I keep going back...my shoulder is unstable, and every few years I do something to yank it out of position, and I need a PT to help get it back.)
