I sat out on the deck and wound yarn. It got really dark inside -- I didn't realise how dark it had gotten until I went in to get the binoculars, and almost had to turn on a light to find them. Belle was concerned about the lack of light, and was pacing. Ji slept through it. But when the light came back, it was morning! and time to eat!. sillies.
The birds went into evening/morning mode as well -- the blackbirds flew off and were replaced by the twilight/dawn sparrows, and then when it was "morning" the blackbirds came back. Right now, it's the usual late afternoon population of cardinals/jays/bluebirds/juncos.
