Choc chip cookies with walnuts are better than without (and are the original version according to Max Miller's "Tasting History" over on YouTube). I like them with walnuts so well, and am not the biggest fan of chocolate chip cookies that I once made the basic recipe with ONLY walnuts. Disappointingly, they were not as good as they ought to have been.
