Second round of shoveling complete. Another 5 inches of (lighter) snow. Still snowing, though. I was gonna put off this round of shoveling until closer to sundown, but J wanted to do his walk and he wanted to shovel *before* he walked. (60 minutes of shoveling should pretty much cover 10K steps, I'd think, but noooooooo......) We'll probably have another 6-8 inches of snow by 8am tomorrow. It's not windy yet, but the weather service tells us that the wind will come up overnight. whee?

I need to find my taller boots before I go out into the back yard to bring in the birdfeeders.

I've been looking for the ruler that I use for measuring snowfall, but it's probably out in the lab somewhere, so I'll never find it.
