AKICILJ, Baseball edition
Aug. 26th, 2007 08:06 am(and quite delayed, due to a lightning strike <300 feet from the house, which killed both power and cable for 24+ hours, and smoked the router, the cable modem, and the two computers that (for whatever reason) were -not- on surge protectors.)
So, SR and I went to the Tigers game Friday night (you know, the one that started at 11;05pm local time, and then went into extra innings?), and she had a couple of questions. (both of which I could probably answer with sufficient time on google or espn, but this is probably quicker, and certainly easier.)
1) who is the third catching Molina brother? Bengie, Yadiar(sp?), and ???
2) when was the MLB curfew lifted?

(4.12) "Because this is the Yankees' only trip into Detroit in the regular season, the decision of whether to postpone the game rested with the umpiring crew, not the home team. With the weather clear behind the front, they decided to wait it out.
"They certainly get suggestions [from Major League Baseball] to try to get every game in," Tigers manager Jim Leyland said. "So the umpire was patient, real patient. Players from both sides probably weren't as patient, and I understand that. But he did what he thought he had to do, and we got the game in.""
That's all I've got.
Sorry to hear about the "mess".
