Yeah. Why listen to the person who has worked more absentee boards than the rest of the board all together? Why listen to the person who says 'when we did this kind of thing before, this is how we did it'? sigh (and then the township clerk says to me after "you should have said something". I did, and they didn't listen. I didn't think it was worth escalating to the clerk, but I guess I should have. Well, none of us will make that mistake again.)
I don't mind honest mistakes (we all made those), but stupid shit that could have been avoided with a bit of thought bugs the hell out of me. Especially when it costs me 4 hours.
