May. 30th, 2007 07:36 amOy. What a bunch of maroons.... Somebody (on another site) asked what to do with a pound of thermite, and about half the respondants were "OMFG! That's sooo dangerous!" sheesh. I'd let SR light a pound of thermite. Heck, for all I know, she already has -- I know she's observed a number of the test firings, but I don't think she's actually gotten to hold the torch. I couldn't really come up with a good idea for only a pound of thermite -- it's such a small amount :) .

Date: 2007-05-30 12:45 pm (UTC)I 'broke in' the teachers fairly early -- SR wore her 'boom shirt' to school on her second day of both kindergarden and first grade. (The 'boom shirt' is a 1995 Berzerker shirt, (the one with 'friends know when to say RUN!') dyed using det cord to propel a baggie full of dye soaked foam chips at surrounding t-shirts.)
