So you didn't end up working at the polls today. I wondered about that when were at ours this morning.
Good luck with healing your hand (just one, right?). It's good you can actually describe what's going on -- I'm hopeless with my own body. My PT people have to stay on me as I'll do exercises wrong without noticing and half the time can't tell what muscles are being stretched or otherwise engaged.
