Better than thundersnow, I guess. Odd for Nearly November though.

Concert went fairly well Saturday. V hot in the bandroom, so I spent as little time in there as possible. Hat very warm as well, *and* it doesn't quite fit so I had to take it off during the concert. Just before DC asked the set crew to stand. Ah well.... Much percussion and chair/stand moving afterwards (120 people on stage means lots of chairs/stands), as well as packing up the Halloween decor bits I took over.

Rehearsal last night was hard - lots of sight reading, and even though DC let us out early (he was tired, too!), I still fell asleep on the sofa after I got home. A rainy drive home didn't help with that.

Weeding today, at least until the first flash of lightning.... I did get half of the E garden cleared out. Should be able to get the rest of that garden cleared tomorrow, after erranding in the rainy AM.

I am apparently not working the election this year - I haven't gotten a schedule from the usual precinct, nor a call from anyone else. If I'd known that LT wouldn't be scheduling me, I would have contacted DT and said I was available for them (DT has two polling places, so needs a few more people than LT, and the clerk has said to me a couple of times that she wishes I was working for her). OTOH, I may get a call next Monday or Tuesday from LT. We shall see. Meanwhile, I have an absentee ballot and I'm not afraid to use it.
