and now an overscheduled scramble begins....

I don't expect to be home very much between now and, oh, Wednesday. Election set up starts at 10am. My supervisor says that sometimes they don't get that done until late evening. I told her I was leaving no later than 5:30 because I have a prior commitment (FCB rehearsal). Then I go in sometime early Tuesday (AV board is scheduled to start at 8am, but I don't know if they'll want me there earlier), and get locked away to count over 900 ballots. I also don't know if they'll want me to go down to the county building after the election on Tuesday. I have already told LCCB that I will not be at rehearsal Tuesday. Wednesday, I go in and take down whatever didn't get taken down after the voters left on Tuesday and start sorting the election stuff out of the office.

J wants to go to Chicago for the weekend, leaving Thursday. I'm not sure when I'll be able to pack. Or even do laundry so I have something to pack. Maybe if we leave late Thursday?
