but only because one of the activities is a volunteer thing that I can *not* do if preferred.

The last week of September is full up (which is, ACK! next week!). Monday and Tuesday nights I have rehearsal, Wednesday is the HS Marching Band Exhibition at the HS*, Friday is a funeral meal set-up and food acceptance, Saturday is the funeral meal, and Sunday is a concert in Franklin. The thing that would make it a TimeFail is a concert at Rackham Auditorium that I would usher at except I have other things to do. (I suspect that there will also be SEMGS on Saturday, but as I wouldn't be going to it anyway unless it's at K&J's, I'm not counting that.) Somewhere in that week I need to do errands.

earlier in the summer, J and I hit up a patio furniture sale and got a sitting area set for the deck. And a box to keep the cushions in. We've been sitting out on the deck a lot more, now that there are comfortable chairs to sit in. Yesterday, when J put his cushions in the box he forgot to close the box. So of course it rained. It looks like it's supposed to be sunny for the rest of the day, so I'll go out later when it warms up a bit and lay the cushions out so that they'll dry .

*which, yes, I am still volunteering for even though DB graduated seven years ago. I like doing it, and I've worked the same area every time they've done it since 2008 - SR marched in the very first show, and then DB was in it until he graduated, and now I'm on the mailing list for volunteers and I wait and see whether that area (of 6 volunteers) gets filled. So far, it hasn't.... I get to hang out by the swamp wetlands where it gets dark early and tell band directors/drum majors that no, you have to wait until the previous band is moving off the field to get into position for your entrance.
