Even more snow....
Feb. 3rd, 2022 12:22 pmand now it's cold and windy too. Third round of shoveling this morning. Probably another 4 inches fell, but by the time we went out it'd settled and blown a bit, so it was about 3 inches of packed snow. And 10 degrees colder than yesterday's shoveling efforts, so I had on long underwear and a warmer hat.
My back was sore and creaky by the end of all that shoveling. The problem I've been having lately is that sometimes I'll move (or sit) wrong and something impinges, and then a lower leg goes numb. So far, the car seat hasn't caused a problem, but sitting on the sofa often does, and sometimes even sitting at the computer will do it.
Still dithering on Capricon. I guess I'll pack today and see how I feel in the morning. I don't really want to send J off on his own, but I have hopes that he'll have enough of a brain to drive rather than ride the motorcycle. (I don't *think* he's willing to ride four hours when it's 15F, into a snow belt, but he does stupid shit sometimes.) he's still saying he wants to go, but he's not started packing either, and he takes longer to pack than I do....
