Here comes the sun....
Oct. 23rd, 2020 12:48 pmand there it goes. Sunny this morning, warm (71F/22C) this afternoon, but there's cold coming -- if we look west (from whence the weather comes), we can almost see the cold. High tomorrow is predicted to be 47F/8C, so there's going to be a spate of weather between now and then. We got about an inch of rain over the last 48 hours, so the sunny morning was nice to have, even though it showed lots of empty branches and dull, wet, leaves on the ground.
And just in time for the next week of chilly and partly sunny (which means more clouds than sun) weather, DTE has signed off on the solar power system, so we can take full advantage of what sun we do get.
PT this morning. Ow. Shoulder now sore and tired. They added some exercises, and did a lot of passive stretching, moving my shoulder far past where I can -- not forcing past anything, but there's a range of motion that the damaged tendons just don't have the strength for. And I really need to finish off the fall weeding, but between the sore shoulder and the wet gardens, it's not gonna happen today. And it's supposed to be chilly for the next week or so. I'll be doing multiple short stints as determined by when my fingers get cold, I think, rather than by how much I've gotten done.
Errands were quick again this morning - just a swing through Meijer and Costco. And a stop at the cider mill, even though we had over a quart left from the last gallon. We'll drink it all before it goes bad.
