3 things make a post
Oct. 9th, 2017 11:05 am- Last fall outreach gig is done. It went pretty well, although we were in the sun -- there was some miscommunication about setup, and the place where we were supposed to be had a pavilion in it because somebody didn't ask before they set up "where we always (aka last year) do". Went out for dinner after with jebra and mrs_sweetpeach and MW after, which is always fun. Now we gear up for the Spooktacular on Oct 29. We will be using some of the music from the outreach gigs, and adding a few bits and pieces.
- The Spooktacular concert is the 29th. I have a costume (jacket only) to do for me. DB has requested a costume as well. His is trickier, although the hardest part will be finding the colors he wants - the quilt store in A2 should have a decent selection of Kona solids, so I'm heading there later today.
- it is fall, and the gardens are in desperate need of cutting back, but see first notes about outreach gigs and costumes with deadlines. After errands today, I'll get out there and cut something back, probably the front garden by the forsythia. One garden per day should get me done sometime in the next two weeks, barring rain or cold. Wish me decent weather.
