There are daffodils in the front garden!
Apr. 14th, 2015 07:55 amwhee!
The weekend was filled with memorial service "stuff" -- Saturday I made "funeral bars" (lemon cream cheese bars) and built a photo board; and then Sunday was the memorial service at a church I used to go to in Farmington. SR and I didn't get home until after 3.
Yesterday it rained off and on, but not heavy enough to soak the gardens, so I should be able to get some garden work done today. I have hopes! OTOH, DB was home last week (spring break) and sick (sinus infection) so he spent a lot of time sitting at the computer, and I have a layout to do. Layout in the morning, then garden!
No new birds, but the goldfinches are getting very bright, and the juncos seem to have left. The bluebirds really like the car in the driveway, and are often seen perching on the mirrors. Which, as you might expect, leads to bird droppings dripping down the side of the car -- such an attractive look.
This weekend is the FCB spring concert, so I have rehearsal on Friday night and a show on Sunday.
