Happy Christmas!
Dec. 25th, 2013 05:32 pmOurs is nearly over. We got just enough fresh snow to cover the tracks I made feeding the birds this morning, so the backyard is a clean expanse of snow. It was cold enough yesterday when we left for church that I didn't think we'd get any snow, but it warmed up overnight, and is currently about 10 degrees warmer than it was at this time yesterday.
The cats got a new sheet of CrinklyPaper, and are currently sleeping off the excitement. :)
Xmas Eve services went well. I made different mistakes at each service, which I guess is a good thing. Sunday the pianist/choir director is out of town so we'll be on our own. It's a piece we've done before, which is a good thing as there'll only be five of us.
The holiday letter is almost done -- I'll finish it tonight, and with luck will get the cards out by the end of the week. Some people may even get theirs before next year!
