That was a day of music. 0700 to 2100, 22 groups, ranging in size from just over 20 to over 100. Band and orchestras and a few full orchestras with winds and strings. DB's groups (he plays tuba in the concert orchestra as well as in the band) both got a I. For the first part of the day, I got to supervise the ushers -- there were actually more people in the auditorium than we needed. But one of them had to leave shortly after noon, and the other had to leave at 1500. So for the last six hours, I was ushering by myself. And helping DB with the set crews (he was backstage by himself -- he's competent, but that's something that's very nearly impossible to do with just one person). I even did some announcing.
