FCB concert was Saturday evening. Very sparse attendance. While I'd like to blame it on the really nice weather, evening concerts are usually very lightly attended. I think the audience outnumbered the performers, but not by much.

The first of the 'wild' tulips is blooming in the side garden; the fritillaria in the E garden is getting pretty tall, and the reticulated iris and early crocuses are just about done; the daffodils in the NW bed are showing buds and color, but haven't bloomed yet; the hyacinths are in a similar state. The california poppies are beginning to sprout, as are the bleeding hearts in the front flowerbed. The flowers on the forsythia are just beginning to pop. I should start weeding. No FCB rehearsal tomorrow, so I should be able to do some...

J cleaned the stinky slimey stuff out of the bottom of the pond yesterday. Frog count is 12, and they've started trilling -- there are a couple of stretches along N Territorial where they are very very loud, but ours seem to start a little bit after those do.

My musically intensive week caught up to me today after church, and I didn't do much of anything this afternoon. (fed the birds, did five loads of laundry, let the critters through the doors.) Now to go continue with that.
