yeah, spring.
Mar. 15th, 2012 03:38 pmWaaaaayyyy early, but it is what it is. (late spring, at that -- the thermometer on the front of the house (in the shade) sez it's 79F.)
Blooming -- crocuses in the side bed: purple, lavender, white, yellow. White giant crocuses. Grape hyacinths. Two different shades of reticulated iris (purple and royal blue).
Coming up -- tulips and alliums and daffodils all over the place; giant hyacinths in the East flowerbed; gladioli that J missed last fall when he was digging bulbs.
Frog count is seven.
The forsythia will probably flower within the next couple of days -- the early ones in town are already in full bloom.
So there's a lot that needs to be done outside, but I have stage rehearsal tonight and MSBOA Festival at the High School tomorrow (all day) and FCB concert on Saturday evening, so I won't be getting out there until Sunday afternoon.
