blargh, continued
Nov. 9th, 2008 06:11 pmIn looking at the grocery list, it's easy to tell that either I've been extremely busy or I've not been feeling well -- there's an awful lot of basic supplies on the list, and I don't usually let them all get that low at the same time. Looking back, it's been at least three weeks since I've done any serious grocery shopping. The pantry looks like it.
I guess it's just as well that I'd already told people at FCB that I was going to be missing two weeks. I was scheduled to play flute at church this morning, and after a couple of run-throughs we decided to punt and do it some other time. Part of it was that the duet was rather tricky and we hadn't rehearsed together at all, and the other part was that I was really not playing well. Did manage to sing soprano today, but I was breathing a lot more often than I usually do. I really don't want to think about playing bari sax with these lungs right now.
Patience is convinced that I control the weather, and has been being grumpy at me all weekend because it's been cold and wet.
CHS won their football game Friday night, so there's a game this coming weekend. Away, but I expect there'll be a pep band travelling along. They win two more games and they're in the state football finals. I don't -think- they'll make it that far, but we shall see.
Jiji (no longer a kitten, really) discovered the joys of an upside down box stood up on its flaps this morning, and has spent much of the day hanging out under it. Well, unless he's tormenting Patience or sleeping on my feet.
We've already scheduled SR's Graduation Party. Six months out. sigh. (June 6, if you're interested.)
This antibiotic is making my ears ring. which probably doesn't help with the singing/playing.
