there was a day in there, I think.
Jul. 6th, 2008 08:58 pmSpent most of it on the road. well, at least we know that the van is roadworthy. :)
SR is now delivered to camp, and she drove most of the way up. I took a (very slightly) longer way home, in order to avoid Southbound I75 on the Sunday afternoon of the July 4 weekend -- on the way up shortly after noon, we noticed that southbound traffic was already slow, and I figured that it would be a more efficient use of time and gas to go 55(cough) down two lane roads than to go 45 on the freeway. Plus I got to skip a construction zone that would have slowed me down even further.
SR was able to astonish a few cabinmates when she shooed me off with a 'go a-waay, Mom', and all I did was give her a hug and tell her to have a good time.
Back to camp on Friday for the show.
