What a way to start Father's Day.

Mum called, from the hospital. Dad died this morning. She and my sister were able to get to the hospital before he died, but even if the hospital had called me I wouldn't have been able to make it, as we're just too far away.

I s'pose it's for the best (he was horribly unhappy), and it's not unexpected, but it's still hard.

Visitation for Dimitri Kosacheff will be Wednesday, 2-5 pm at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flat Rock (30895 West Huron River Drive). We'll be having a friends and family gathering at the house in New Boston from 5:30 to 8pm or so.
