I don’t think there’s supposed to be crying in football…
but when Damar Hamlin walked on to the field while SB57 was honoring the first responders who saved his life? And then the NFL went to the Walter Payton Awards? I saw grown men trying not to cry on international TV.
And then followed probably the best Super Bowl* game I’ve seen. I generally mute the commercials, but the visuals were pretty good. :) (I did unmute the Crown Royal “thank you Canada” ad, though.)
(* certainly not a Stupor Bowl, and not even a Superb Owl. By any standards, that was a very good game. which is often *not* the case….)
